Vintage 1980's Strapless Yellow Stage Gown by Darnell of London - Size 6

This fabulous dress has a yellow, silk-satin, full-length straight skirt with a heavily embellished bodice. 

Details:

The lightly boned bodice is completely covered in Swarovski crystal, glass beads and faux pearls of white, dark blue, light blue, and orange. There is a long split down the front middle of the dress. Fastens with a zip at the back with a hook at the top.

Made by British Label Darnell of London who were renowned for making show stopping stage gowns from the 60s to the 2000s. Their clients included Joan Collins, Diana Dors, Zsa Zsa Gabor, Marlene Dietrich, Dusty Springfield and most famously, Shirley Bassey.

Condition

In very good vintage condition; some pearls are missing from the front, 8 of the orange and blue squared crystals have been replaced with plastic ones and some of the colour has come off them. Also, one square crystal  is missing from the top edge.
