1980s Deadlier than the Male Sarah Whitworth Goth Vamp Halloween Dress, size S

This dress is by Cult British designer, Sarah Whitworth, renowned for her Victorian Gothic inspired dresses in the 1980s. She was also founding member of Hyper Hyper where she opened her shop, Deadlier than the Male in 1984 - the label for which is still attached to the dress.

Details are many and include high neck collar coming down chest in to a deep plunge neckline, velvet-cotton fabric that is ruched all the way down the front of the dress and a bustle that drapes down the back of the dress into 2 points either side of split.

Size and Fit
The label states size 12 would best suit a curvy size 6 or size 8 -10 with a corset underneath: waist is 26”, hips are 34” and bust is around 34B-D. There is no str

Condition
This dress has only been worn for photo shoots and is in excellent vintage condition, however the zip was replaced for a longer one as it was very difficult to get into with the original shorter zip.
