These are a well-tailored pair of late 50's/early 60's tweed trousers made in London by John E Hardy. The label states "by appointment to her majesty Queen Elizabeth II mercers of woolen cloth Hardy Minnis". The wool is made in Ireland.
Details:
It has 2 deep pockets which are cotton lined at the front as well as 2 straps on either side of the waist. It is woven with orange and red checks throughout. There are 2 hooks at the waist, one button, and a metal zip fly. The waistband is also lined.

Condition
It is in good vintage condition, there are 3 tiny holes on the left leg. Also, 2 tiny holes on the right leg. The holes are no bigger than 1/2mm and are not noticeable when worn.
