Vintage 1980's Couture Silk Stage Gown by Darnell of London - Size 12/14

This is an incredible dress made by designer to the stars, Darnell of London. It is made entirely of hot pink cerise silk and the top has been embellished in beads and crystals. Darnell of London is known to have used Swarovski Crystal but I can not verify the origin of these, although they certainly are of superior quality. This is a beautiful one of a kind stage costume.

Details:

The top part of the dress and a portion of the back are encrusted in swirly patterns of glass beads and green and white crystals. There is a heavy embellishment of blue, green and white beads, pink sequins and green and white crystals. The dress has a subtle v-shape neckline. It has short flared sleeves with pleating at front of the skirt. There is a side split on the left, zip at the back and hook at the top for fastening. It is entirely lined by silk and  includes shoulder pads sewn inside the dress.

Condition

In very good vintage condition; there is a blue mark on the right sleeve and a small faint mark at the back of the dress around the right-hand seat. A green stone is missing from the front and 2 clear crystals are missing from the right sleeve.
