This is an authentic French Army jacket from the 1970s. The label states "Manu centre Decazeville 1971."
I believe this was a french military as there was a letter found in the pocket titled "Ordere de convocation". It appears the owner's name was Jacques Marchand. The pocket contains documents from the previous owner.
The green lining feels like silk and the main jacket is a thin ribbed fabric but there are no labels on this garment.
Details:
There are silver-grey badges on the lapel, 2 epaulets, and 4 pockets at the front. There are turned-up cuffs and 1 vent at the back as well as shoulder pads that have been sewn in. This jacket is really well made and fully lined with 2 inside pockets. There 4 buttons down the front for fastening.
Fabrication: Unknown Fabric
Care: Specialist Dry clean only

Condition
It's in very good vintage condition, there is a small faint mark at the front on the right-hand side and there is slight wear to the fabric. The silver metal has come off the buttons and the button on the right-hand breast pocket is also missing. Also, there is a small brown mark on the right epaulet and the shoulder.
